Haash! Finally I am back :)
Finally ... after a long break ... I am back. Life has changed so much ... priorities, necessities, friends, lifestyle, everything has changed. I feel, I am on the right way to achieve my goals, but the way itself is not straight. It will need many vital decisions, which will be like sharp turns ... I have to take them at right time, otherwise I will be lost ... far away from my destination. I had many useful experiences during this break, which taught me several important facts about life, family, culture, friends, career, professionalism, etc etc. I will be sharing those also with you guys during my forthcoming blogs. I just wanted to restart my 'Think on it !!!' :) So, for now, That's all folks!
MaanSingh...
It was the joining day for Post Graduation at NCST, Bangalore. As I came far away from Maharashtra first time in my life, I was searching for a Maharashtrian guy, with whom I can speak and be friend. And I met a boy Maansingh. He told me that, he is from Belgaum and so he can speak both Marathi and Kannada. As local workers here, can't speak Hindi and English but can speak Kannada, he can communicate with them easily. So, I started staying with him so that, I can communicate with people here easily. But in few days only I came to know the nicest nature of Maansingh. He is a guy who never wants to hurt anyone. He always smiles and stays cool. Eventhough he is facing a trouble, he don't tell anybody. Sometimes I get angry on him, coz he never thinks about himself but always thinks about others' happyness. He is a kind of guy who cares about others so much that, he sometimes faces difficulties, but still he never stops doing that and helping others. He is a most understanding and nicest person I ever met. I can't be like him even for a day.Maansingh, you are great!
Why can't human stop bothering nature???
Here in NCST, Bangalore I observed one nice thing. In every company, there is a lawn, flower plants, fountains....so that, people living there feel fresh evrytime they look at it. I was really impressed by it.But, while living in NCST, I saw many students not realizing about this beauty and making it dirty. They don't put the chocalate-wrappers, empty packs of food-stuff and carrybags in the dustbin but they leave it on the lawn and goes away without feeling any guilt. I don't understand, how can they do that? How will you react when someone will throw dirt on you or your cloths, your room?Sometimes people argues, the stuff they threw is disposable. But, can they tell in how many years it is going to be vanished? Not less than 10 years! Can you carry a dirt on your body for 10 years without cleaning it, only because it is disposable? Everybody likes cleanness, but when the ball comes in their court, they ran away from their responsibilities. Think on it people! Nature is mightier than us...! What will be the result if it gets angry??? What will happen if all the field on which you throw the garbage become infertile? How will you or your next generation servive?Keep this in your mind, be aware about nature and respect it!
It's very 'Sunny' here at NCST!
Sunny Sharma...I met him on the first day and I thought he is a kind of student who doesn't care about his studies and wanders here and there making fun of everyone the whole day.I was not wrong totaly, coz he made such impression in the first meet only. Anyone would've thought like that. But, after 4-5 days, I realized that, he is not like that. He cares about his studies also, but want some spice in life, so makes the atmosphere a bit funny. He calls himself wicked Sunny, but you can call him funny Sharma also.He is different...! He takes care of everyone. Gives chance to everyone to speak. He doesn't have a tendancy to be a center of attraction. Though he usually is! He is as emotional as he is cool.He is the person who can cheer up anyone, no matter what. Some people make fun of others, but when someone make fun of them, they get angry. But sunny is a a kind of person, who makes fun of himself also many times. And I think that is a great quality he has.In a 2 months time only, he became one of my best friends!
Blogging means sharing your thoughts, right?
Why do we write blogs?
Two months ago, one of my teachers introduced me with blogger.com . Actually, blogging is a part of evaluation for one of my subjects , so he told me and my batchmates to start righting blogs. He taught us, how a blog should be, what things you can right in your blog etc. So, I started righting blogs. He told us that, blog is one of the best ways to share your thoughts. I took that seriousely and start thinking on it. I thought if I can share anything I feel on blogger, I can tell the world about the people I respect or the historic things which touched my heart.I collect information about freedom fighter Vasudeo Balwant Phadke and read, coz he is the first hero of battle for freedom, which I got introduced to. I tried to write about him in my blog and published it, but at that night I felt very guilty. The reason was, because of my lack of knowledge of english language, I felt I didn't make justice to the work of the great man. I couldn't find the proper wordings and so, I just put that information with some modifications in the blog instead of my own words. It happens! When you don't do a work neatly, you feel guilty and you try to make it correct through your lifetime. Now, my teacher said, your blogs should not be copy pastes...I didn't do a copy paste, but I also didn't right thae whole blog on my own, cause I took help of some paragraphs from the original documents. Also same thing happened, when I was writing history of my hometown Solapur. It was about 4 freedom fighters from Solapur, who amazed me since my childhood. I heard story about them but never knew the original facts. Fortunately, I found one document about them. So, I read that, and immediately I decided to put that portion on my blog, because I didn't want to ruin that blog only because of my bad english knowledge. Same things happen about scientific or holy, religious facts.
And I don't understand, why to play with such divine facts? May be, that blogs won't get counted but I don't care coz, I wanted to share those things with others and I did it. I could't resist myself from doing it and in future also if I want to write about some holy or historic facts or persons, I won't ruin them if I can't express my proper feelings in words. In that case, I've to put that part of original documents in my blogs...is it wrong???When I write a blog, I feel nice because it gives a kind of satisfaction to me that I expressed something I feel, in front of the world. Blogs are for sharing your feelings, and I am doing the same, right? Please let me know, if I am wrong by commenting on it.
Friendship!!!
'Friendship is a beatiful thing. Don't you think without it nothing will be there in life.Someone must be their to keep secrets. A friend is all yours without any conditions. Don't you think it is just like worship. Someone must be their who loves you. S/he scolds you on your every mistake. In sorrow, s/he is there for you. S/He is the only person who becomes happier than you when you get success! S/he gives all what s/he has for you to be happy. S/He cares for you always. You can trust him/her blindly. S/He never leaves you alone and can fight with others only for you. Are you thinking, it is impossible to get such kind of friend? I don't think so, coz I've one friend who is just like that! Amit!He takes care of me a lot and he is the one who gives me strength when I feel depressed and enjoys my happiness more than me. He makes me win under any circumtances. He is such a nice person that sometimes I feel that why I am not like him. He convinces me in such a nice way that any kind of tension goes away. Without him god knows what would've happened to me coz he stabilazed my anger. So, I am a bit patient now because of him. He doesn't like anyone praise about him, so he is forcing me to conclude here....but before I finish, Amit....Thanks for being there!
When a teacher wins hearts of his/her students....
In last blog I wrote that, how teacher is important in life and we should respect as much as our parents! But sometimes, students don't respect their teacher coz they think he is their to trouble them and not to teach them. Why we should not think that is all written in my last blog. But a beauty is created when a teacher makes a nice impression on his/her students. A teacher believes that, teaching is a art, but when it becomes passion, s/he wins hearts of students. There are many teacher, who taught me and I worship everyone of them. They gave me a lot and whatever I am now is only because of everyone of them. But, I realized that, some of them knows the art of teaching perfectly!May be they are not the best teacher for that subject, but they know how to create magic of preaparing a student for that subject. You don't realize and they make a place for themselves in your heart and BRAIN too!I would like to mention some names here, who made a big impression of themselves in my heart and I won't forget what they gave me for rest of life.First name comes in my mind is Minal madam, who was a my KG teacher. You know what I think of a KG teacher....she is like a potter, who creates a beautiful, curvy pot from a rough shapeless ball of soil. Without a potter that soil is nothing. But after s/he touches it, it becomes a beatiful art.The same thing Minal madam did with me. Next is my primary teacher Patki madam, who taught me basic fundas of day-to-day business. My English teacher from high school Kulkarni Madam help me improving my personality. My HSc Maths teacher Mr. Patharkar solidated my Maths. My HOD form Engg college Garaje sir introduced me to programming so nicely, that now I can play with some programming languages easily. But, here in NCST, I never thought that I can get a nice teacher at PG level, coz PG is more about self-study. But still I got some teachers here also, who touched bottom of my heart as a teacher and as a person too!Raman sir! The name is enough! He taught me Data Structures in such a niccccce way that, I realized that, Data structures is like a toffee. What I knew previously was something like a outer chocalate coating. But he introduced me to the inner creame of the data structure which is more delicious when you do programming, and not only data structure but he made the entire java programming easier thing for me.If I start describing him, I will've to create a whole new blogaddress and put all the blogs about him their only! The second teacher touched my heart is Mr. Govind. He taught in a different way than any other teacher I learned from. He was more like a friend to us and he taught us Technical Communication, so boldness which is required for communication in IT industry came in us as a obvious thing. He taught us in such a nice environment that now an NCSTian can go in any interview, group discussion or presentation and he'll top there for sure.He also enjoyed with us every moment inside and out of the class, took us to a nature's beauty Nandi hills for a trip. Today he concluded Tcom sessions, which inspired me to write this blog!Thank you all of you teachers!
Guru - A teacher for life!
In ancient India, there was a tradition of brahmacharyashram. This is a period of life, when a 7-8 year old child is sent to Teacher's-Guru's house for education. Where he has to live for next 12 years of his life and learn all the things whatever his Guru teaches him.Student had to respect and pray there Guru's during his entire life. And why not....he is the creator of good citizens, or even a good king.In our childhood, we are also taught to respect our Gurus, and we do so coz, we know what did they do to us, how much effort they take on us to make us well-educated, well-mannered citizen. They love us more than their own child. They give us whatever they have just to make us successfull in life. Whatever kind of teacher s/he may be, even a Sports-teacher, but his lessons never goes in vain.Now-a-days, in schools and colleges, students respect their teachers but most of the times the coz is fear of deduction of marks...they don't realize what this person is doing for us. With this blog I just want to request all the students to at least remember once what your teachers did for you and what would've happened to you wthout them. So, that you can realize their importance in life and start respecting these legends!
when parents become old...
Every body loves their parent. But, some people treat their parent badly when they become old. It depends on our sanskars. I'll tell you one story from Indian mythology. In ancient India, there was a boy Shravan. He worshiped hid parents more than god and was very much devoted to them. They were old and hardly able to move. They were not able to see also. They thought, now we are very old, so we should go on a pilgrimage before we die. They were poor, so couldn't afford carts or horses, so Shravan decided to take them by a kavad. Shravan carried the kavad on his shoulder. On one side his father was seating and on the other his mother. When they reached Ayodhya, they stayed in a forest to drink water. Shravan went to the Sharayu river nearby and started filling water in his pot. Ayodhya's king Dashrath was in that forest that day for hunting. He heard the sound of pot and thought it's an animal, so he shot Shravan with his arrow mistakenly. Shravan died, but before that, he told Dashrath about his parents. Dashrath offered them comfortable stay in his palace. But they refused and died in sorrow of Shravan. Till this moment, Shravan is the best example of ideal son I heard of.In sanskrit, a verse is there : ' MATRUDEVO BHAVA, PITRU DEVO BHAVA'. Means mother and father are like God to us. There are many national heroes, who did great things because of there parents' lessons. Shivaji, Swami Vivekanand, Lal bahadur Shastri are some examples. Parents teach us so many things. They do everything for us. We owe manythings to them. They not only give us birth but care for us throughout their life. They teach us the basics, so that we can leave in this world. They lay foundation of our career. They are happy, when we are happy. They cheer us up, when we are sad.So, worship them like god, because they ae the most important persons for us in the world.
